With the exception of a loss to Loudon County High School, the Stone Bridge volleyball team is having a terrific season.

The Varsity team is doing extremely well this season with 12 wins and 1 loss. With only 7 more games left in the regular season before the district tournament, the team is looking very good for the postseason.

“I feel like the team is really connected this year and that’s why we’re doing well this season,” senior Halle Boyles says. Boyles plays defensive specialist and outside hitter on the varsity team.

The JV team is doing great in their games as well. The team as of September, has had 6 wins, and 1 loss. The loss was against Loudoun County High School, a big competitor of the team. They also had a close match against Briar Woods, which was another big game. A player of the team described playing the team as “nerve wracking”.

“With a close, intense team. We’re able to push through challenging games.” sophomore Brooke Premo says.

Both the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams are having a big game against Briar Woods on Oct. 9.
