Fresh off the announcement of “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)”, Swifties have put together a riveting theory concluding that the singer will release a memoir on July 9, two days after the re-recorded album’s release date.

The announcement of “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” on May 5, night one of her Nashville shows, was a long-anticipated fan favorite. Swift hinted at the album’s release album’s release during the nights of the “Eras Tour” by turning all of the fans’ light-up bracelets purple at the end of her concerts, the color of the “Speak Now” album cover. She also projected purple onto the Tennessee State Capitol building.

A book under Flatiron Publications with an undisclosed title and author has now reached the top ten Best Sellers in Books on Amazon. Included in the minimal information released was the page number of this mysterious novel (544) and the genre (nonfiction). The genre serves as a verification to the theory, but Swifties went out on a limb to point out that page count as individual digits (5+4+4) equals 13, Swift’s birth date and lucky number, which is more proof that the book might be happening.

Fans also extracted multiple clues from Swift’s social media statement posted at midnight on May 5, after the announcement of her newest re-recorded album.

“The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions and wild wistfulness,” Swift said on Twitter. “I always looked at this album as my album, and the lump in my throat expands to a quivering voice as I say this. Thanks to you, Dear Reader, it will finally be.”

Fans claim the adjective “diaristic” may hint towards an auto-biographical project. “Dear Reader” was the title of the closing track on her most recent album, Midnights, which fans also claim may be a clue referring to her audience as “Reader”. The date July 9 is suspected because it is mentioned in the Speak Now song “Last Kiss” and was also in her social media post.

The potential of a memoir from Swift may be a reach, but fans are hopeful nonetheless. As her audience well knows, Swift loves to surprise her fans!
